Geesh....bad enough that stormpay decided that they should take all my money out of my account to charge back to an autosurf company.
Now they are going through their records and have started to charge back every body who purchased anything from me!
So now, all those nice sales I had of ebook/software/scripts/websites/domains, etc that I got paid on and delivered....now those purchasers are lucking out and getting their money back!

    Screw stormpay!!!!
For sure, not now, and not in my lifetime, will I use that awful crappy company to buy or sell anything!
Anybody or any site that has something I want and they use stormpay, they lost a customer!
Nor will I ever accept payment (have deleted stormpay from all my sites!) via stormpay!

I started to use Stormpay, but I didn't like the fact that they hold your money for a week after you get paid. I like the way paypal does it. They allow you to immediately transfer your earnings into your bank account, and take a couple of days to put it there.

Yeah they suck. Just go to your bank and state that you didn't get what you paid for and they are illegally holding funds from merchants that you made purchases too. Alot of banks are doing charge backs on the last 60 days.

Go to my bank and tell them not to accept anything from stormpay.
Whether to take money out of my account or put some in.
Bank has taken care of that problem!!

Did this because stormpay will not let me delete my account (now have a negative balance) or delete my bank account.
Did let me delete my credit card information, but to be sure, did call my cc and told them.
CC will also not accept anything from stormpay!

Think stormpay will be pissed when they try to get money out of my account to pay for the negative balance they have now given me!

Bastards took me for a little over xxxx (yes, thousands).

I'm a bit confused. Not that you're having issues with Stormpay since I haven't read anything positive about that company but that they can hit you with a chargeback for all of your sales.

Maybe I'm missing the big picture but how can they do that?

Because they are nothing but cheats!
Only reason anyone can come up with.

Of course, am waiting to see if they do chargebacks to those people I bought something from!

Here is what one person did from another forum

    Quote
    Hi,

I didn't think I could issue a chargeback because I had used a debit card tied into a checking account to fund my Stormpay account (for 12DP)

Last week I went into my bank and submitted a "Regulation E Affidavit" through my bank for charges to Stormpay.

I just checked and the bank credited my account. I am so thankful!! I have now cancelled my Stormpay account. The Customer Service rep at my bank strongly encouraged me to now cancel my checking account since Stormpay still has my account information - so I will do that next.

Hopefully this will be an encouragement to some of you to go ahead and try to get your money back through your bank.

This was definitely a learning experience for me!!

    Onward and upward!!!!

    Kathy

    and another reply

I'm so glad this can help!

This is what I wrote in the description (where you have to explain what happened).

"Although I authorized these funds through StormPay (they are an online payment processor) they did not send my payment on to the person intended. The transactions were not completed based on my understanding. They will not refund my money."

At the top of the form you have to make a selection as to why the item is an error. I checked item #6 which says, "Although I did engage in the above transaction, I dispute the entire charge or $___ of the charge. I have contacted the merchant and requested a credit adjustment. I either did not receive this credit or it was unsatisfactory. I am disputing the charge because:. . . (then I filled in the above paragraph).

I hope this helps many of you get your money back!!!

    Kathy
