StromPay - worth or not?

    Hello :)

    I am in way to set my new E-Covers Designing service selling site and Paypal not supports my country so i was thinging of Stormpay to be my payment processor.

    I wanted to ask few questions :-

    1) Are they Reliable ?

    2) Do they really pay's ?

    3) I am not using my bank account and want Checks every time ? is it OK?

    - Also what are good and bad point's ?

    Storm Pay is pretty good. They (like all processors / 3PP) have had problems. You will definitely find more people to complain about a company since it is human nature and especially since it is money that you are dealing with.

    Go thru their TOS and ask them in an email your specific questions. This way, you have it in writing from them.

    For sure use Stormpay and you might also like to add Paypal and E-Gold to that being the 3 most popular forms of digital currency.
    I wish more sites used these currencies, particularly E-Gold and Stormpay as I have a considerable amount in them and it would be way more convenient to use them directly to purchase online.

    I've used Stormpay, and the only thing that I find annoying about them is that if you are a new account holder, and you get paid, you have to wait 5 days before you can transfer your money to your bank account, while with paypal you can transfer funds a lot faster.

    From my point of view StormPay is very good, only problem is huge fee comparing to PayPal.
    But they just introduced smaller fees for NetIba certified members, cost 19.99 $ a year.

    yup... i believe they're reliable (imho almost in the same league as paypal)... but their fees are horrendous... :(

    I agree, PayPal and E-Gold are the top payment processors and stormpay is common, but not better than PayPal nor E-Gold

    the question is that is stormpay is good in giving cheques ???

    do they really pay's by cheques if i dont have US Bank account?

    Get the debit card. Far less hassle than requesting, waiting for and cashing a cheque.

    Yes, they do pay and they are reliable. As mentioned, you should get their debit card if you want to withdraw your money fast. To do that, you will have to certify with NetIBA ($19.95 yr) and buy the card - $29.95. Their fees are high though.
