Subdreamer CMS, Opinion

Hey Ceaser1, my ideal cms would be one that can manage multiple domains and possiblely have an option my clients to have limited straight forward access to edit his/her content when I'm unavailable. Do you think the Subdreamers Admin is pretty straight forward or is there a learning curve? And can you assign permissions easily?

 

Well, I'm kinda new to cms and subdreamwever and its easy for me. I would just ask them about it

I think ExpressionEngine is a good choice for your 'blog style' requirement unless you have anymore special requirements like me

The free version of EE is limited in many ways. You can't even have member registration. So I think I am also going to buy one personal license and check it's full capability. I need to find some time for that.

I will risk 150 $ if it fails to meet my requirements. But I think it's a decent risk, because if it's really good, I can consider the same for my next 2 or 3 projects.

Unfortunately I am not a designer, so I am little hesitating to buy it for the lack of good templates. If I buy it, it takes real time for me to study it and make a decent template

I plan on starting another site, in a few months, id joomla compatible with invision power forums?

 

Use wordpress for your CMS you can get a custom style for your whole site for a few hundred dollars and you will have ALL the benefits of using wordpress
