    As a Graphic Designer i have been taken through all of photoshop versions at last CS4. and i am glad to say that there is no substitute of Adobe,s all products, As much as photoshop.

    I have been using that suit from many years with a classification.

    What you say about that?
    I simply says


    NO Substitute.

    I have used GIMP extensively but Adobe Photoshop is far superior. I do fall back on GIMP for certain tasks such as cartooning

    NO SUBSTITUTE! I came into this actually to tell you there is no substitute.
    Same goes for all kinds of Graphic design software, Adobe pretty much has the market!
