    Does anyone here know of any good/highly successful portal sites, not necessarily those that do well in the SERPs? I'm not talking about directories, mind you.

    The reason I'm asking is that I'm doing a study of portal sites and the reasons for their success.

    Ok, perhaps I should have added,
