    Can anyone suggest me a good content management system for uploading photos,which must be displayed through a flash enabled gallery?

    You can use gallery2 as a complete photo management and video streaming solution. It's a FOSS package and can be installed in a linux server and very easy to use.

    Selecting a CMS is depending on the actual requirement of you. It it's a normal web site, drupal joomla would do, if it's only a photo gallery type thing gallery2 is ideal. If it's a learning management system kind of thing, then moodle has all you need. :)

    Why not use wordpress, there are several images/gallery plugins.
