Suggestions for making money online...

I've been involved with several businesses on the web since '96..some have done well, some have failed, and some never left the planning stages. Here are some of my suggestions..

1) Surround yourself in the internet webmaster community. Get on as many webmaster boards as possible. LEARN..the secrets of creating a successful site, how to manage clients, how to advertise and NOT to advertise.

2) Find a "need" that needs to be serviced and attack it. If someone else is doing it too, be better than them. Offer better service, and better prices (if possible).

3) Brainstorm. Look outside once a while, think about what's going on that people may find important and need to read about on the net. What drew YOU to the net for the first time?

4) Dedicate some funds to make it work. The old adage that it takes money to make money rings true even on the internet. It doesn't have to be a whole lot, but enough to get it going- adwords, link purchases, etc..

In the end, any new business that'll theoretically make money will take a ton of work. Unless you're that british kid with the million dollar home page

 

If what you are currently doing doesn't work, do something different. Keep at it. Most wealthy individuals who created their own wealth did not do so with their first project. Diversify and see what works. And pursue your passions.

 

Failure is your friend... Failing at a few projects will give you the knowledge you need to start others. Then one day you will hit the BIG one.

 

I would recommend the autosurf program is a good start. there is a lot of it, and some risk, choose the good one.

The main risk is that the program may not be able to last long and you may not get back you money put in. if the program running well, it will sure make some extra money. so play with the money you can afford to lose.

HI, im new, i just put up my site at www.ringformp3.com, so it was up on oct 3. now I got an email about purchasing my site for about 10000. but he wants my site appraised. whats that. Im all new to this webmaking and all.

he offered 10,000 without asking anything else? sounds like a smart businessman to me

 

Their is no easy way, one of the smarter ways is to create a directory, raise to click ratio per day by linking and such and then put adds on it that will help to generate funds per click. For example Google Ads on your site can help generate tons of money, their are also a bunch of others like Miva and such.

 

Is there any other similar services Other than Adsense that works well??

This is a scam. Don't fall for it. He just wants you to pay for the appraisal. Search these forums, it has been discussed before.

 

Yep watch the false companys who want to buy domains but ask you to get an appraisal they are scammers.

 

What is appraisal ?

 

It's when you have someone evaluate how much something is worth. Have you ever seen the Antique Road Show? They appraise old junk on that show.
