    There are many. You can invest in training yourself to make more money (hehe this is what I did). You can put it in real estate. You can make products and use the money to pay for marketing.

    There's a lot of creative ways to make the most out of it.

    Personally I would use the bulk of it to buy an established site already earning a few hundred each month from Adsense or another proven affiliate.

    Hmmm you don't need to invest that large amount of money in just one go. How about setting up an affiliate marketing site or perhaps sign up with Google adsense. Very low investment but definitely you will earn money from it. However, I don't think there's a good and stable investment out there that can give you "quick" profit.

    I am thinking it could be very easy to lose that three grand without some general knowledge of how things work in internet marketing - might be better to invest it in silver. :)

    "Quick" isn't a factual word in the investing business. The smart thing to do would be to diversify the $3000 into 2 or 3 small, yet strongly growing, companies that could bring you large profits in the next 5-15 years. Anybody promising you a "return" on your investment is a liar and will screw you over.

    Don't take that whole $3000 at the moment. Divide it into parts. Set a budget , and then for a website maybe hosting or website domain registration. You can us $500 on promotion and then get your website on the top. Use the rest $1500 to start another venture when you see your first venture is in its great stage.
