Sweden wants to get rid of oil dependence until 2020

Wow, thats something. After Bush has announced that America will cut down on oil dependence, Sweden went a step further and decided to get completely rid of all oil and without building new nuclear power plants until 2020.

I'm sure it works when more parties can be hooked into it. - In Sweden they are united about this...

...and its also better for our environment.

That made my day:) :) :)

For the next couple of weeks I expect big protests from the oil lobby and car industry, but I don't think that they will have any influence on the goverments decision any longer.

And as I know Bush, - he will also proceed into this direction regardless of protests from the no more (all) power full oil lobby

I hear Andorra is commiting to no nuclear power plants for the next 1000 years. Silly little countries!

14 years is hardly a realistic time frame for a country with more than 8 people.

^^ Hah.. Saudis owns 5% - 10% of Wall Street. They will simply buy all companies that have alternative-energy-projects and shut them down, Good Luck!

Almost everything is for sale if you're ready to pay a fat amount of money.
