    To create text like this I always use MS Word to try to recreate it (change the background color and the font color and try a few different fonts until it works).
    Once you have something good take a screen shot and paste the text to photoshop and edit the rest of the image.

    I think this font is verdana.

    ya even i think itz verdena.. but u can try corel draw type the word there and see if u can find something similar... :0

    i have checked verdana but its not the original font i think...

    current size in image is about 8 or 9 px.. in that size .. verdana is not readable

    i have tested this

    try doing it in photoshop and rem'ber to keep the text as strong and not crisp cause in small images the text gets lost :) and then try save for web

    Verdana is readable down to size 7 (just tested it) as long as you create the text in Word and then paste the screenshot to your image software.

    If you create the text in photoshop it is hard to get it right.

    yeah it may be true.. i will check it.. but let me find another font.. because word to photoshop will be hard task!

    Are you sure you checked? That is the first font I tried. And Silkscreen's obviously thinner.

    The link I provided is to the original button, which definitely used Silkscreen. Later derivatives (of what proved an almost ridiculously popular) format, may have used different fonts.
