After all the donations people have made I thought it would only be right to dedicate a thread on its own to thank everyone who have generously donated actual money and offered 'odd jobs'.

All I had asked for was to do some work in http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=19443 and people have donated around £80 altogether as well as 5 or 6 job offers

I personally feel overwhelmed by it all and I really wasn't expecting such a response. This really does show what a fantastic group of people belong to DP and it has been by far my favourite forum since I joined last year.

The thing was I was only expecting maybe 1 or 2 jobs after posting the thread.

I had just found out that the life insurance I was going to cash to use was actually only going to be a quarter of what I'd get unless I left it until the end of the policy in 2007. I just thought maybe there's a few people at DP who are a bit stretched at the moment who would gladly pay a few bucks to get things done. I know there's always little annoying programming jobs that I always put off.

Anyway the response has been phenomonal and I really appreciate everything

 

I'm always willing to pay for little jobs as I have a to do list as long as my arm.

You better take Grace to somewhere better than McDonalds though

 

I thought there must be some reason for all those Indian web design companies constantly emailing me asking if I had any web design jobs they could do. lol

If i'd known you wanted to do some odd jobs, I would have paid you to cut my grass and do my ironing.
