    Photoshop! For experienced users only.

Are you looking for a program that generates the graphics and sizes for your banners and logos? You can search at www.download.com for a free one!

in your situation, it would probably be cheaper just to hire someone to do it for you to be honest. or as 8everything said, give download.com a look.

    The thumbs down confused me.

I thought it was about another scammer lol.

Anyways! Photoshop. I would rate Paintshop Pro about 70% as good as photoshop, and GIMP about 50% as good (but its free, so its good to start)

You should use vector software to design logos. Photshop is a bitmap editor and, funnily enough, is designed to edit... photos!

The designs aren't exactly unique though, are they?

Could get the buyer into legal troubles later...

If you're branding an actual business, there may be conflicts as other people will be using the same thing.

If it's for a non serious site, then I guess not.. depends on the license and such.

    'Non-serious'?

Business use or not; copyright infringement is copyright infringement.

A 'newbie' is precisely the type of person responsible graphic designers should be protecting.

As for logos, they should be designed with a vector application, not a bitmap one as photoshop is.
