The DP Dance?

So, I am sitting here freezing up in SF right now (San Francisco for those of you outside the state of California). Just got back from Cabo San Lucas and 80+ degree weather....{sigh}. So, I am thinking to myself, what would be a good reason to head back down to San Diego (where I lived for 14 years, until last year)? The DP Dance, of course.

Maybe it could be hosted at Fred's or even Cass St. Bar and Grill? Maybe Pizza Port?

There is a good vegan restaurant called Eatopia Express down in San Diego, off Newport Ave I think, that I'd like to visit again.
I'd meet everyone at where ever it's planned at and eat at Eatopia either before or after.

 

Not saying it because I live here but Pacific Beach is the best place to have a party in S.D.

I can get it all organized or help with it at least.

BTW, I did not ditch you, I had the biggest UHaul they make full of furniture that I had to drive over the Grape Vine...that only took 11.5 hours.

Nothing wrong with the idea, but it is just like the Pub gatherings UK members have over there, how easy is it for you to pay 5 grand to meet some webmasters for 6 hours in the UK?

Like I told them, throw a party, webcast it for the rest of those who can not attend or do not have the time or money to travel.

Or, get the Chargers cheerleaders to attend and 90% of the male members will find a way to show up because you and SiteTutor are not that much of a draw man

 

lol. I can get a few chargers cheerleaders to go...but, honestly they are as dumb as a box of rocks....combined.

No offense to our friends on the other side of the pond, but I think SD is a little bit more of a "destination" than the UK....especially with the super strong dollar these days (that was for you AC). Honestly, I will pay for your ticket, just so I can see you kiss and make up with Sitetutor...that would be more than worth the expense of a ticket. That is, if you are not in San Diego already...

come on buddy, it wouldn't be the same if you were not there. It would actually draw more people, if they knew they would get to meet you.

 

I say Vancouver in 2010 for the Olympics is a good reason to get together up here. I can make some room (save for AC) and probably pull some strings in Whistler for a few guests.

PS: We should be in LV this spring, we will pop by then if some want to get together...

 

Nice! I will be in Vancouver and Whistler in February...will have to scout it out. Any recommendations for Whistler over Valentine's weekend? I have a room booked in Vancouver for 5 nights, but I want to get some boarding in while I am up there.

 

NC never fails to see a business opportunity, now he is in the meeting and conventions business.

Like I said, hire some models if you want to draw in male members, just ask NC what a bunch of desperate dudes we have around here, they would walk a 1,000 miles to meet some women.
