Excellent post! Green Rep for You.

This is information that is very very useful and should be heeded. Make sure you verify that all extensions and mods you will be using in Joomla will work with the SEO extension you decide to utilize. Joomla is not all happy and fun when you encounter issues with various extensions and compatibilities esp with SEO.

Drupal - and that's also the buzz round the net. But Drupal is not as easy as some of the others.

WP isn't really a CMS - you can imitate one - but it is easy... but easy isn't the same as good. People on DP just always focus on WP because is quite basic and easy.

I've often heard people talking about using WP as a full-blown CMS. I can't really see it - I mean I am not an expert in all the plugins that are out there, but it seems to me there would be a lot of compromise involved...

Though not a full-fledged CMS, wordpress is a great for SEO purposes and for making simple websites.

The best news site round here in Serbia is www.b92.net - it uses Drupal and it looks great. But they couldn't give a fig about SEO, obviously, looking at their URLs!

    Great post!

The programmer who is going to program my web page is suggesting to use Zend Framework as CMS basically because he says it is very SE friendly. I am looking for a development which is very SE friendly. I was loking for information related to this when I found this post.

The main issue I have is that the application does not need to be developed with a CMS. I have nothing against it either. My final decission on this matter will be based on if the application can be more user friendly by using / not using a CMS such as Zend Framework (or any other).

We have to admit that Typo3 with RealURL(extension) is doing a formidable job with SEO..not a lot of work to do to get a real good ranking without advertising
