    Hi Guys,

I would like to know your thoughts about 2 things:

    (1) What do you thing will be next big online phenomenon after email, video sharing, social networking...do you believe it will be local/global thing, user generated content or something else ...etc?

    (2) What according to you is the percentage of ideas that click and why, that is if I believe I have a rock solid idea what are the chances it will work or it won't?

A true start-up is one that was founded to solve a problem that is widely addressed, and you need to make sure your idea is the best solution to fix it because once you have that big paycheque, it can be easily taken away from bigger companies looking to throw a million at you.

We need a start-up that has is independent and works regardless of big internet giants like Yahoo, Google, etc. These will then evolve into a true phenomenon because people will recognize the success one has made, and it will solve many other's problem.

Communication start-ups have faster success, because of the amount of people who want to talk with friends is much greater than those who want to do anything else. That's why Facebook and Twitter are the world's hottest properties right now.

There are tons of free games online, but people still pay for specialty games. Either for kids or for skill specific games

I have no idea and if I did I wouldn't be talking to you, but I would be setting it up.

Its probably going to be something extra stupid and childish. Let's face it. Youtube has gotten childish, facebook, lol do I need to explain.

    usasport is onto it.
    The future is mobile.

There are vast numbers of people in poorer countries who have never owned a computer and maybe never will. They are/will however own mobile phones and will access the internet that way. And in wealthy countries mobile device use continues to rise ahead of PC's.
So whatever the future holds, it will need to be mobile compatible.

I think the scenario sorrounding personal management on a global scale is something to look out for especially as internet really expands. Remember that we have just a fraction of people connected to the net now but in 20 or more years' time, enormous numbers of people wil be online and this will bring its own challenges including security issues. So one who will harness this data whilst providing reliable security and giving users their independence plus control may turn it into a commercial hub!!

I think mobile will rule the world of devices and something which uniquely caters to this demand will be ahead..also the idea of sharing will continue to be the market philosophy
