I agree with champ rock . go for numbers its just easier.

E.g. 50 uniques a day to 100 = 5,000 and that is a lot easier to get then 2.500 a day to 2

With toplist sites like mine, there is a waiting list as i only activate 5 per day, so don't expect the hits to come straight away. But when it's your turn you should get at least 50-100 hits that first day...

you wont get traffic through topsites unless you have a high traffic
and a better position in those topsites

Hey,

I know that phproxy has been discontinued and I have been working on some mods for it. I was just wondering if this feature has already been done.

You can already block certain countries but I was working on a mod that allows phproxy to disallow access to certain sites. For example you can block all sites with a tld of .com.cn (china) or you can be more specific by specifying the actual domain. You can be even more specific and block access to a certain part of a site and allow access to other parts. So the matching system can be very broad by using wildcards or very specific right down to a certain directory on a site.

Anyone heard of this being done before?

 

Not sure if would be a mod, because all you would need to do is edit

to do what your planning on doing by adding a wildcard then .com.cn. Heres a description on the readme file of phproxy

 

Thanks for letting me know about that, that's why I asked before starting. I can't say I've ever read the phproxy docs .

 

I have just noticed that images arnt working on my proxies

The images just dont load

A example of one of my sites is at simon369.info

Could anybody tell me why they dont load

 

They seem to be working OK... if not, force them in frozen flags, as I've noticed that sometimes using custom templates, people dont pass the variable in the form when you start browsing.

And if you want you can recommend any tips to keep the bandwidth usage low..
And any other plugins you can think of (Free ones, not going to pay for anything until the sites has paid their hosting, and paid the cost of the plugins ^.^)
