I have tried Auction Ads & so far have only made $15 from it, they only pay if someone buys something & not by click. It puts a cookie on their computer for 30 days so if they buy something else on ebay you get paid even if it wasn't for the item they clicked on when they visited your site.

As for Widget ads I just tried them on a few sites yesterday & made .22 cents, nothing today. I also put shopping ads on a few others without success yet. I replaced the Google Referals I had on my sites as I was getting lots of clicks but $0 revenue from them.

Anyone else every tried Google Referals on a Proxy with success?

Thanks The Emirates Gallastico you gave me a few ideas for a couple of new domains :)

    No problems mates.

You can of course incorporate the various social networking sites, ex unblockfacebook, browsebebo (catchy :D), viewMyspace... you get the idea ;)

What are some other ad services that you guys use for placing ads on your non-proxified pages? I just tried out widgetbucks but the ads do not seem at all relevant.

Auctionads is payper sell and from my experience doesnt convert for proxies you'd be better off with shoppingads(same people as AA but cpc), ttz or adbrite.

I've tried it with ikobo and other small change services/companies that will pay you for getting your users to signup. I had no luck with them.

    hi guys..

anyone wants listing on my new topsite?? (it is already getting abt 2000Uniques a day ;) -- i have merged my old proxy with this topsite)

so get a free listing with a linkback or get a premium listing in yellow (contact me for prices)
(there is a 50% probability that the visitor will be taken to a premium site and rest 50% is distributed among free ones)

this topsite listing is on every site of my network

    @gsv13

Sorry for appearing daft but i think most users that come to your site will not have javascript disabled on your homepage. (which is where most of the income should come from?)

Does your chart show javascript usage on the home page or proxified pages?

If the user uses 1 or more proxies at the same time - i.e chaining one through another for better security - this is the only time i think the javascript will effect you, these people that are hardcore trying to hide there tracks, will not click on ads anyway i think?

    Check my sig :D

Doing well with them so far, believe it or not by replacing an adsense ad with a widgetbucks ad - i got a double benefit because my adsense cpm went up due to less ads on the proxy homepage!

Always better to try and split up any income into different providers as well

I am currently displaying the widgetbucks computer niche (Christmas around the corner) & i think this niche is one of only a few that will convert on proxies

$0.40 - $0.60 is current per click rate for these expensive shopping items - better than $0.01 - $0.90 especially if you have been smartpriced :)

    Yes most from home page!

It's for all the pages however for unique visitors not pageviews.

True some of the visitors stats show some kind of proxy :)

    Thanks for replies!

@ gsv13 - do those stats exclude bots that search your proxies and all the proxied pages people externally link to?
