The reputation race - first to gold?

I'm sure we all agree that yfs1 and Crazy Rob 'have much to be proud of' but who will be the first to go 'gold'?

Will one of the 9 bar group (Hodgedup, Weirfire) or even minstrel (eight bars) have a late surge and take the honours?

Whats a gold rep?

 

I believe 'gold' is the colour of the next group of rep bars unless Shawn has changed the colours

 

What are the numbers or points required?

 

We all know that they are just doing a "round robbin" of giving each other rep... I mean, come on, can anyone believe that YFS1 would really have that kind of green otherwise?

First of all, in no situation would there be a "them"

I suspect much like the YART thread, we will sign in one day to have the rep system be scrapped

 

I think the default is 1500 but that all depends on whether Shawn has altered them.

As long as its replaced with a rating system in Buy/Sell/Trade, I'm all for it

 

Unless Shawn hacked vBulletin and added it, the rep image directory doesn't have any gold, just dark green, light green, (No increase/descrease), (extremely in the red), (red), and (rep off, when you have a choice to have rep or not).

 

I'd think that yfs1 would prefer to remain green anyway to support being the Patron Poster of Ireland?

 

I just want to say that it's a sad day when a rep thread turns into a yfs1 and Rob shower together thread.

yfs basically has a whole load of rep because he has does some business with everyone. Just ask yourself, have I at some point done business with yfs and then you will realise "oh yeah, I remember repping him for that".

Hodge has rep because he is seriously funny.

I wouldn't give myself a 1 in a million chance of beating Hodge to the so called "gold" as you put it. I personally think we should start getting away from the whole rep topics and start concentrating on actually competing with the other businesses outside DP. If we actually put as much energy into helping each other out in the business way as we did with the whole rep system this would be a community with serious power!

I can't even understand why an intelligent human bean would mark 'I approve' for any post made by a messed up wacko!!!!!
