    That is an unjustified comparison.

I don't think so, how many babies die each year or are left for dead because their mom is smoking crack with her boyfriends?

How many babies get AIDS because of their mother selling their bodies for dope and to make a buck here in the states?

I do not agree with what happened to this girl, but we are no shinning star for an example to the world.

Go to Hong Kong or Las Vegas and get all the sex and dope you want for a price, is that better than those folks?

You're comparing two different moral geographies. In one, a culture condones the murder of someone who is not responsible for the act that was commited on them. In another, individuals suffer as a consequence of anothers actions. They are both abhorrent, but not equal or even open to comparison.

Minstrel's point is not invalidated by pointing out the horror our own culture contributes to.

There must be some sort of charity organisation that runs to try and protect women in Iran. I know there's a charity organisation that helps enforce laws in India regarding all the brothels as their government have not tried to fight this massive problem.

Are children in this country responsible for the evils they have to face everyday?

Can we condemn those folks if we can not set an example or conduct ourselves properly?

Sould we start WW3 because we do not like the way they do things?

They do not like us telling them how to live either....

The point you seem to be missing, AC, is that here we condemn and attempt to prevent such behaviors. We don't applaud them in the name of righteousness or religion.

Yes, but you are missing mine also, they have their laws and customs and we have ours.

In ancient times (I know none of us read the bible) many cultures sacrificed their children to pagan Gods. You should also note that God sent ancient Israel out to war to destroy those pagan nations many times.

So some religions are false, what about those empires in South America that sacrificed humans as part of their rituals?

That was thousands of years ago.
I'm not denying that it happened, just that things have moved on somewhat since then.

    Wouldn't you agree...

    Do you think so?

Why do parents sell their children for less than 100 bucks into slavery (sex trade) under the name of adoption so they can better themselves and find their kids a "better home"?

Why do some societies think that a son is more valuable than a daughter and some even give their daughters away or let them die or live in disgrace because they have no sons?

It is a lack of education or lack of proper understanding of the true religion, because God does none of these things or ever has.
