Well we have war, the stock market crashing, the dollar is worthless, business in general sucks, world record gas prices, low wages, we are in debt up to our eyeballs and Minstrel says, "Don't worry, be happy that I make $150.00 an hour because I am a Doctor" :p

Thanks a lot Minstrel, thanks a lot.........Can you get me a secured loan Minstrel so I can be happy too

There have been economic downturns, bad politicians, and high oil prices before, and there's always a war somewhere...

It's the doom and gloom and extreme rhetoric that I find alternatley humorous or tedious... the world is not coming to an end: this is only another phase.

Bet those folks making $7.00 an hour don't think that way when they pay at the pump right now Minstrel.

But I wish things were better, but they are not.

PS: Do I want to convert a page from photoshop? No I have not thought that recently

I'm not happy about the price of gas either, AC -- especially since in Canada a third of it goes directly to the government in taxes and they already have a surplus.

But I'm sure you recall the oil crisis of the 70s? The world survived that... it will survive this too.

You mean the one that Nixon and Kissinger started Minstrel where they told everyone that there was no more oil (price went from .25 a gallon to $1.50 overnight) and lowered the speed limits to 55 mph

Then they had us driving Pinto's and Vega's so we could "save the limited amounts of gas" left in 1974 :p

It is great to have corrupt leaders to ruin everyone's lives

We will all get over it one day

Yep. And that's pretty much the same situation we have today. There is no shortage of oil. There is just fear that we will have a shortage. The US oil reservese are currently higher than they have been in recorded history. The prices are based on fear and hysteria, not facts.

Bless you child... of course it counts :D Just imagine how the price of pacifiers and Pampers must have jumped backed then
