It's happening tonight in southern california. Freaky storm. I didn't even know it was going to rain. I haven't heard thunder like this since I lived out of state. And there's a crazy lightning storm too. Lightning at least once a minute. My house is like a strobe light.

So anyways... I totally put off my plans to build a boat so heres to hoping one of my cars can float.

Fear Not nevetS, as a native of California and a now Kansas resident I can tell you that storms are a natural occurance and there is nothing to fear ;)

Come to Kansas sometime I will take you to see a real thunderstorm with 85mph winds, baseball size hail, and a rain wrapped tornado, now thats scary. Last season (May-August) we had a day where there was 110mph "straight line" winds with "spinups or gustnados" that was picking boats up off a lake and throwing them. God I hate this state.

That was quite a storm last night. My daughter (3 years old) slept right through it, but my son (7 months old) kept waking up and crying.
