I have been using triond.com to publish my articles online and they do not have a triond.com forum, so let's use this thread to discuss our experience with their payout.

You need to have earned 50 cents before they send out payment on paypal so please no one say stuff like "wheres my 36 cents!

The minimum payout by check is 50 dollars so make sure you have it set for paypal or have the minimum 50 dollar requirement before accusing them of not paying.

ummm, the point is for people to discuss their earnings, this is not to promote triond. If you read my opening statement you would not have posted what you did as it makes no sense. Please everyone read what the thread is about before you reply about sites you aren't involved in.

I started publishing on triond as an experiment in November 2006 - I can write about anything and wanted to see which topics achieved the best number of readers. I don't like the recent changes. They seem to have dumped or have been dumped by google and now have yahoo ads. Also, whereas before all articles were linked to all other published articles in a box called "other things by" nowadays they only link to one or two. The payments seem to have gone down too.

The most any article made was 1$ a month this is now down to 60c per month. There are sites which pay all adsense revenue my articles generate. Triond need to do something to stop the rot in my opinion.

I do agree there are other sites which seem to have a better system implemented. Kind of a slap in the face to us writers and the idea of revenue sharing.

I had been posting many pictures thru Triond which they publish on thei site called "Picable".

I am averaging anywhere from 60 cents to a dollar cpm on Picable. I was sending traffic and promoting my links.

I recently started my own site to share digitally manipulated images at PeachBlunt using the NING social network platform.

I have only recently began it but I can tell you It looks like I will easily be making more CPM running adsense.

Triond only requires 50 cents min payout now. I have received on time my monthly checks from Triond. My most was $43.15 for one month. For the amount of time I spent promoting it I could of did better elsewhere.

You can start your NING site for free but if you have to pay to upgrade it so you can run your own ads.

I think Triond is absolute c*rp! Here is why: I wrote over 200 articles for them, and had them published, I saw that my earnings were increasing and everything, and then out of the blue, they banned my account. They claimed that I had used some traffic exchanges or something to get more views to my articles. I had done no such thing (since I honestly think traffic exchanges are a waste of time), only used tools that are allowed by Triond, such as Stumbleupon and Twitter and stuff.

So of course I wrote them back and told them this, but one week later, I still haven't gotten any reply to my email, and their phone number doesn't work of course, and when I asked about this in their forum they ignore the question and just ask you to mail them. (And I clearly stated that I already had)

So no, Triond really aren't professional, and they may very well be a scam too!
(because seriously, if I get banned shouldn't my articles be removed? They are not, and they even encourage me to write more, they just freeze my payments. How stupid would I have to be to actually do that? Keep writing for free, but still be banned...)
