    That might look good on a site about toys or games, but imagine a leaderboard with ads about insurance or loans and having that stupid dog in them... would make them look very unprofessional.

    I guess you are right - who would be foolish enough to use something unprofessional as a gecko or a duck to advertise insurance...

    lucky its only one dog....imagine 4 dogs.... it will turn my site into a pet shop or a toy shop or something..... google should give us the option to choose what type of dogs to activate :p

    I think this kind of immature nonsense from Google can make a professional site look very unprofessional and turn off visitors. I've asked Google to change the "Ads by Gooooooooooogle" label for the same reason -- but they haven't listened to me.

    I guess ads just aren't professional in general. But you can filter out the ads displayed on your site but that could be very tedious.
