    Money...

    Rising interest rates and higher limits on tax-deferred retirement contributions are among reasons for optimism…yet,
    Some investors aren't as wise as they think…1 out off 3 will lose more than they can afford.

    Music…fresh sounds are ripe for the picking. So, never mind the record stores.
    You'll find new favorites on I Tunes, My Space, and JdpWorld. Or many other music sites…

    Fashion…Look for a return to preppy, collegiate styles. Not my cap of tee but its here.
    Guys will take their style cues from music {killers} women will embrace classic, lady like looks…

    Electronics… The I Pod has become and will remain the must have device and the more gigs the better…For gamers its all Xbox 360.
    Satellite radio will try and make radio old news…


    Movies….Superman Returns. Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean.
    The Da-Vinci Code. Miami Vice. Casino Royal. X man 3. Mission Impossible. Jack Ass 2. Scary movie no-4. And more.


    t's probably nothing to get excited about, but it is going to be a long year.

    Most of those things you mention apply to the typical person, which I'am not. Rising interest rates are a double edged sword, and I personally think many Americans will be hurt by this, which is the reason I completed one of my New Years resolutions today by paying off my credit card. :)

    For music I'll stick with P2P or Digitally Imported. For fashion I don't care what I wear, becaue I don't care what people think.

    As far as electronics I'm happy with my laptop and Coby MP3 player. I'll grab an Ipod once it has depreciated enough in value. The same applies for Xbox 360, though I may instead wait for the PS3.

    Movies? Well most of them are probably going to suck. Xmen 3 will be good if they put Apocalypse in it, but I didn't see him the trailer.

    Real estate boom - moves from physical properties to internet real estate :D I'm excited, and think that internet properties will be the "new hotness" in 2006, even more than in '05. Internet marketing is rebooming, and nothing like the ugliness of the last boom.

    You have a very good point. One of my sites is going to have its two year old birthday this year, and a bunch of other sites I own will reach their first year.

    I think we will see a lot of wealthy people here at DP in the coming year. No problem about the movie update digimania.
