Think about this before buying a website

I have been looking at all kinds of websites for sale, here and at other sites.
Most are not what I would want for various reasons.
Found a few good ones that interest me a lot and could, should, make me income such that the cost should be recouped in 3 months or less.

Then, earlier today, I ran into an adult site for sale.
Emailed the person selling it, had some nice conversation with him about the site, the business, etc etc.
Quite thorough about everything and he was quite honest also about the income, the hosting, the problems that have and may arise, plus how to market an adult site (eye opener for me, as I never gave this much thought).

So now, given the cost of the adult site and the cost of another type of business, both being equal, which one should I take? Knowing that the adult site could and should make me considerable more.
Would you buy an adult site?

I just need some input here (myself I went from not wanting an adult site to now about 50-50 after learning about the business from him).

I've found myself having the same dilemma and currently I have no adult sites. I would like to know how you get on.

 

I Dont see any reason why Not since the entertainment is the focus on the internet. Adult website shouldn't be any different too. Lots of people are lonely

 

I was personally thinking about starting an adult site, i'm 18 in August lol so i don't think i'd be able to do it right now . One of my friends friends owns an adult website and apparently it is very profitable! In your dilema it would depend on what project would need the most time looking after it, and making sure everything goes right, and depending what you would personally prefer
