this week sucks

freaking awesome week

first I had some people attacking my link exchange sites, filling my databases with hundreds of entries of bullshit links and not hundreds of different links mind you the same 20 or so links over and over again

So I deleted their links no big deal, but then they come back except this time times 10

So I ban their ips, fuckers

So now I have a denial of service attack pointed at a couple of my reseller accounts

My host shits himself and suspends my account, and he asks who I pissed off, like I am the asshole

So this has been going on all weekend and still going on now, that's like 20 sites out of business,

The this morning I get an email from another host my account has used too much ram, and so its suspended and I should buy a dedicated server

The account uses like 10-15 gigs of bandwidth a month

Now I know I am shitty programmer, I just throw shit together and put it up on web server, since I am decent at seo my sites tend to get some traffic, which in turn makes the programming errors really shine.

I understand that this unacceptable for a host, but don't I get a chance to fix it ?

Or at least suspend the files that are problem and let me fix it, I just got a cache module installed yesterday, give me chance to get that thing set up?

No buy a dedicated server.

Ok so now there is like anther 17 sites down, I have been emailing all morning trying to get my data from the suspended account and/or find a host that I can throw the sites up on

In my directory hosting(yourdirectories.net) I have some lines of code that limits every IP to post more then a certain amount of links on the same day. So this thing wont happen if you use my service.

 

Gee ferret, I was gonna say it's only Monday so don't feel so bad about the week... BUT, my goodness, If I were you I'd stay in bed all week just in case.

Reminds me of the day my Christmas site got highlighted in one of the top Newspapers here... and exactly that day my host had problems and the site was offline 20 hours
