    I have some great ideas which have worked for me in the past.
    if you use certain keywords in your title you will get visitors who are searching for buried stories. Its true that some people realize that gems get buried under heaps of nonsense.
    To get these diggers to search for your submission i ask that you do these three things

    1. use PIC in the title. many are visually receptive and cannot read well
    2. USE DIY there are alot of real geeks on digg who will search months back for a tidbit idea.i have had visitors from over a week from the day i submittted just becuase they i had DIY in the title
    3 NSFW/sfw not safe for work this includes pornographic images sounds, etc.
    any combination of the three or therof.

    It is true, i often open links with [PIC] in it, sometimes even without reading the title :)
