Buying To all bored and "unemployed" NATIVE English Writers

Are you a NATIVE English writer? Tired of doing the same old 250/500 words SEO bullcrap articles? Do you have a few free spots in your busy agenda? Do you consistently make love with Google and like it?

I have a proposal for you.

I need creative writers that can structure a few (many) words and sentences together, writers with strong quality assessment to discern crap from a good reading. Writers who make easy work of research.

The Job? Articles on a theme you get to choose, preferably a theme that you master or that you have a particular interest in; however this is not essential as long as you put enough effort into research. The articles are in the form of top lists (top 10, top 5, top 20…) and top means TOP.

• If you’re working on “top 10 dirtiest politicians in the world” I expect the dirtiest, not just 10 random dirty politicians.
• If you’re working on the “10 fastest production supercars in the world” I expect the fastest, not just 10 fast cars.
• If you’re working on “10 flawed views of the Universe” I expect to read something that I find interesting and intriguing.
• If you’re working on “10 ways to kick your boss in the balls without getting fired” I expect a lot of imagination and to laugh while reading it.
• If you’re working on “Top 10 killing machines” I expect to be surprised by something I didn’t know existed or at least something I haven’t realized before.

I do prefer Top 10s, however I’m open to other TOP (insert number here)

I expect you to link all sources for the material you’re writing about, plagiarized work WILL NOT be tolerated. 100% copyscape passed articles only. Copying other site’s lists and rewording them will be a waste of your time and mine, I will find out easily and you’ll be FIRED and not get paid.

For samples of the intended material please refer to sites such as “listverse.com”, “toptenz.net” or to some extent “cracked.com”, among many others sites of the genre.

I will pay anywhere from $15 to $35 per article (perhaps even more after you’ve proven yourself to be top notch) and I’m sorry there are no rules for setting the price besides my judgment of your work quality, theme and effort put into it. Word count also matters; I expect the total words to be around 1500, if you write more (relevant words) I will have this into consideration.
I also offer the option of you getting a dofollow link to your blog/personal page as the author instead of the payment, or a mix of both.

You may PM me, however you MUST include your e-mail in the message as I can’t reply back for the moment (DP banned me temporarily for PM spam after I sent several PM asking link sellers for their link URLs and prices with copy/paste, I guess I needed to write something different every time even though the message was the same… geez) If any moderator sees this, please lift my ban already.

What I expect from you now:

• If you’d like to give it a shot, please e-mail me your ideas (a couple of them) to get my blessing (as I may already have something related or I may not like it at all) after that you’ll have to find the appropriate number of items to make the list complete (do not write them yet), I will give it my second blessing and only then you can write them knowing you’ll get paid for it

What can you expect for me:

• Prompt payment through Paypal once I have the complete list in my possession.
• Ongoing work, I will take as many lists as you can send me.
• No stress.
• A Half used cigarette butt.

I know I have 0 iTraders and I am fairly new at DP, I already hired a couple of writers here but they’re still working for me, hence no feedback yet. I don’t care that much about it anyway.
You have my blessing to come here and post all kind of insults about me and my mom if you don’t get paid for the work you’ve honestly done for me. I guess you’ll have to trust me; there is no way I’m going to pay in advance not knowing what manner of work I’ll get. Consider this job to be something you can do when you have some free time as there is no deadlines/rush to deliver whatsoever.

Well... If you can attract me to read this post from top to bottom (and I'm not looking for work) then I think you're on a winner. I just posted my own 'article writers wanted' post, but I might employ YOU to write my next one lol.. You have a talent for making people read a fairly long post... If you need articles written pretty much all the time you might try Mechanical Turk.
It's sponsored by Amazon.com.

Mechanical Turk connects people who can do various tasks with people / companies who have work to be done. Each work unit is broken down into what they call A Hit. Each Hit earns a worker a given amount of money that varies widely. Some Hits only go for 1 penny and others go for $30 or more. Some hits also offer bonuses for high quality work. Some of the Hits can be pretty involved. The person Requesting the work to be done can clearly define specific goals and grade work before approving the hit. You can also ask workers to perform a qualification test before they can work one of your Hits. There's several writing Hits posted there all the time and most of them require research.

Might be worth a look.

 

Thanks Psychic, i had the idea that MT was all about hiring people in India and other low income countries to do mechanical work (repetitive work)
I will give it a better look, however i do prefer a direct approach to people such as here and at O-desk, MT seems to be quite impersonal. Maybe I'm wrong.

I guess it is a little impersonal. Amazon tries to maintain their place as intermediary for reasons self preservation right along with maintaining the privacy of workers/publishers.

I was surprised that I got an email to my personal address from someone I contacted through the site about one of their Hits. I assumed that there would be something like a PM which would keep it within the site. I've exchanged several messages with them in solving the problem and moving forward with my work.

As far as MT being designed to target low income countries that's not entirely true. Yes, there is a lot of stuff on there that pays pennies for an hours worth of work but there's also stuff that's beyond my skill set which pays reasonable well. You can also geo-target your Hits. It would be a qualification that the worker be from the US.

 

Hm, I wonder if there's a website that's just focused on hiring only USA workers. I think that would be successful. If not - one should be made! I know of a few people here in the USA hurting for money. I tried writing Nancy Pelosi about this idea, but little ol'me didn't hear back - maybe I should have been focused on writing to someone else who might actually care.

 

Maybe the USA Workers need a lobbyist. We could pool our resources and send someone into Congress armed with free lunch coupons, free golf vouchers, and free airline tickets. That might get a little attention. After that we'd use a slush fund to provide "gifts" or "political contributions" for certain people. Maybe that way we can get something done.

 

Okay, I'm going to ignore the obvious creep factor of this thread, as it applies to "making love with Google" and all your "blessings" - and move right on to the business aspects of it.

1500 words on speculation, not knowing whether you're going to get paid .01 per or .023 per because you decide that as you go along.

So far we've got "fail", "fail" and "fail".

Then you want people to "trust" you and your lack of iTraders, but you make no effort to do the same. In fact, you stated you will NOT make upfront payments. I mean, insulting your mama is nice and all, but it won't pay the bills.

For this part, it rates "epic fail".

I already lost $600 (not here at DP but doesn't matter) once with upfront payments and i promised myself to not do the same ever again. That is the #1 reason why i don't pay upfront.

The #2 reason is that only writers who are confident that they can give me what i want will be willing to try the job.

I already got a dozen bullshit offers and spam but got 2 good ones, the ones i hire will be able to come here and confirm that i paid them, in fact i broke the above promise and sent a small upfront payment to one of them because he explained me his concerns and took the time to e-mail me a decent application stating those concerns.

I say fine and good riddance to whoever doesn't trust in my words as I can't hire them all anyway, i just want a few good ones.

 

In fact i lost 4000€ when i lend them to a friend, in the end i lost both, the money and the "friend". Such is the story of my life.

I used the word "blessing" excessively even though I'm not even religious. I guess i just like the word.

 

You would imagine after a post like that you would have a hefty amount of iTraders and rep here yourself .. truth being you have 2 iTrader and nothing in 6 months. I would consider you to be no more trusted here so get off that high horse.
