To open source or not...

    Hi guys, I am a developer with my own in house CMS(.NET 3.5/ SQL) close to finishing and i am starting to wonder what path is the best to go with it, either making it open sourced or in house, or others.

    Basically, i am pretty confident with the power of functionalities included with my cms, but the thing is, i have done a lot of researches and the number of cms existing in the market just blows me away. I am starting to think if it is better to make it open source, and then may be charge on service for example integration, custom development, but i am not sure if that is the best way.

    What do you guys think? Any advice?
