too blend or not too blend

Hi;
on my site www.bittersense.com Some say my ads blends too much, but before I used to display them with white background. So any comments about ad placements?

Hi there,
you can improve the looks of your homepage. I can suggest few things,
1. Give a rectangular border to each news. With a rounded corners would look better.
2. Height of each news box should be same, if news is short then add horizontal breaks, spaces. So that, two newsboxes on one line should look same in height.
3. Remove the background color, you can make it white, as you told it was there previously, but at the same time I would suggest you to lighten the blue color used for newbox background
4. One more important thing, look the difference on "Mozilla-Firefox Browser", spacing at the header increases, try to reduce the differences on IE and Mozilla.
Take this suggestions in a friendly manner, I am still going through your site, I will let you know about the suggestions, if any
