Too much blending?

I know that with too much blending, you can get banned from Adsense because you make ads look like content.

In the link box thing under the nav bar on my site, is the border too dark on the adsense ads?

too much blending can also decrease your Click rate , i have placed one ad on my site at top with totally different colors of my site theme, and i am getting 10/day clicks from just that ad,
so there should be blending+non-blended ads together

In my opinion, that is top-notch ad placement. Well done.

I agree with DavidHall. I don't see how Google could have a problem with it, as it is separated from the other boxes, and the headings are all different colors. Looks very nice.

Google will not approve your ad placement. I had tried something similar (see attachment). I emailed Google for approval and they said -

Hrmm... well the only way to find out is to ask Google. If I were you I'd much rather ask them and be told no, then find out that you've got banned or violated TOS!!

Its good but your best bet is to check with google. Only thing i see wrong is that you have (Script has) changed the content to look like adsense ads which is not allowed. Email google and if you get a reply that it is allowed make sure you save that email for future references if you get into any problems :)

I think your ads look good...can't see why they would be abusing the TOS.
The pink looks appetising as well.

I would definitely think that this is misleading users, and therefore will probably not be approved.

    Thanks guys.

I make the border aroudn the adsense code lighter, so I think it should be fine now for sure.

They look really nice but I would have thought that the one in the middle might cause some trouble because it does look like content, at a glance..
The ones at the bottom look fine though. I think the surrounding border would be enough to show they are different from the content but only because they are at the bottom.
It'll be interesting to know what google thinks though. Keep us informed.

Oh yes, I would get rid of those central ads fairly quickly...

Isn't getting the users to inadvertantly click on the ads what its all about? All kidding aside, the blending is maybe too good - I had to really look to find the ads and had trouble seeing them. Overall I don't like dark colored sites - I find them overall just hard to read. But you certainly get an "A" on that blending.

Yeah, great blending indeed. The site overall has a that web 2.0 feel to it. Good luck with it!

Although this is the best blending I have ever seen, I do consider it against the TOS. Not only do the ads look exactly like the other links, but they also switch places with those. And the other links are 'clickable' on their whole area (just like google ads). If I didn't know what "Ads by Google" meant, I would certainly believe that they are part of your site and in no way some advertisements.
