    I think the same thing that twitter is used mostly officially, but in social life facebook is famous and No.1 because its a very good way to share something about you and your fiends and to stay connected with each other. Doesn't matters how far you are. :). And google plus also very impressive with its features specially hangout.

    Interesting reading bearing in mind this thread was started back in 2012, and therefore many of those social networking sites are now history, such as hi5, or MySpace, which being still up, is not longer the kind of social network that used to compete with Facebook and Twitter back in 2008 just to say.

    Google+ has been up for some years now, and still is not what most of us expected to be, but a cheap copy of Facebook with re-branded labels. If it has loads of users is because Google has been enforcing (or fooling) users of other G-products to "update/upgrade" for G+ and to gain access to certain Google services is mandatory have a G+ account.

    I believe the social networking sites by popularity are actually Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram, with any of the others coming after these.

    I think the bigger is not always the better. All you need to keep in mind is that where are your customers hanging out. I don't think we should focus on just the biggest platforms.What about the niche social networks, where a small group of people with a special interest can meet and talk. actually there are plenty of small social networks worth paying attention...

    What about the new emerging platforms, like Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram?


    For us the best platform is Twitter, because our audience prefers to use this channel and it is easy to reach them.
