Top quality pages, very rare clicks, what can I do?

All big pages of unique content and original images. 700-800 adsense impressions per day, with only 1 or even no clicks per day.

How can I optimize these pages, total dozens of them? I have tried to slice them up into smaller pages but then traffic drops drastically so I have to restore them to original versions.


I have used 336*280 on the left, which is said to have the highest CPR, but still they simply don't work.


Anyone got any idea?

 

Do the traffic comes from search engines? or from forums signatures? Usually webmasters dont click on ads.

Dont use large fonts because they will get the attention.

 

If people love your content and you can make them stick to your site, I think you will get very few clicks because they already get what they want (the information). People click ads when they do not get enough information so they search for more info by clicking one of the ads.

 

Yeah, some people told me the same way that my content is already good enough so there's no need to click on ads.

Yes, all organic search engine traffic, merely any referral traffic that I can see of in the log.

i think your site lacks structure...better redesign it...and try using a leader board at the top and a skyscraper near your navigation...
