    Digg, Stumble, Mixx, and all other that operate in this matter are not Social Networking sites, they are Social Bookmarking sites. There is a big difference.

    The relationships formed on Social Bookmarking sites are based on a shared interest of information, and entertainment found on the web. Profiles are limited to your web personality and interests, and rarely have much latitude to include any business information.


    The relationships formed on Social Networking sites can center around personal, romantic, professional, and business interests that don't have to be web related. Profiles are more detailed and connections are made on interests that have more depth.

    Facebook is a Social Networking site....Digg is a Social Bookmarking site.

    I do not think, digg and mixx are good for referal traffic, but for backlinks, we can get strong backlinks there. However, It is very hard to traffic directly from there,

    I am using facebook and twitter.
