Topix.net - Business Model

    I'm familar with Topix.net but not with their business model. I know that the site drives a lot of traffic, they said 5 Million uniques per month and 15million impressions.

    It looks like their running striaght Adsense and AdBrite and they are also running static links for SEO.
    They also license their news feeds to other portals.

    What I'm asking is do you think the business is profitable or not? I can't see them making more than $4CPM. With all the employees and expenses they suggest it seems like they are not profitable. The founders previously founded Dmoz and sold it for $100Million to AOL, (estimated). :confused:
