Topsite Placement?

Discussion in 'Placement / Reviews / Examples' started by Greatten, Oct 18, 2006.

I recently started a topsite for myspace profiles and was curious if my ad placement was good or not. Also, I got a comment or 2 saying that the content on the page was hard to read or "cluttered". Please post what you think and how I should fix it. Last night I also noticed that all my ads changed from being myspace targeted to things like "College Ranking" and the sort. Since not much content can be added to topsites like this, what do you suggest.

My site: www.greattensites.com/myspace (sorry, im new here so Im not allowed live links yet!)

basically the ad placement looks good, as for the ads that the adsense shows, since you have them under certain sections, whichever section it is under, it will try to show what that post above is about. Basically if you want the adsense ads to advertise a certain way you have to figure out how to integrate keywords for that subject. So like for example, say I wanted the ads to fit in with affiliate marketing. Within each post I would mention the words affiliate, and marketing at least once.

i have the word "myspace" plastered all over the site yet ads for the word "ranking" are the only ones showing up with a couple myspace ones interlaced. I tried removing almost all the "ranking" words from meta tags and throughout the page, but the ads still show up, what else can i do?
