TOSMI training in Open Source Multimedia Instruments 2009

    Hello all,

    If you are interested in Open Source Multimedia Instruments we would like to inform you about TOSMI – an open source CGI and multimedia training for professionals organized by InterSpace for a third year this year.
    One of the sessions conducted during the 2009 trainings will focus on Producing media for the web: Open Source Software & web 2.0. The training is based on working with Drupal (Content Management System) open source software and provides skills in innovative and efficient tools allowing for achieving quality production and/or education process at low expenses
    During this course, trainees will learn the benefits of using open source software to deliver media content on the web. They will have the possibility to create their own media rich sites through working in teams during the training. Approaches to audio and video streaming will also be introduced.

    The course has a participation fee of 1000 Euro that covers tuition fee, accommodation in Sofia, once a day meal (lunch) and coffee-breaks. There are also scholarships available to cover the participation fee.

    In 2009 the training will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria.

    Deadline for enrollment is June 20th, 2009
