    My question is related to Facebook, that how i can get traffic from social network site Facebook, and it is effective and is it possible to get 500 visitors from facebook for my website and how much time it will take to reach this limit and is there any other such social website which can help me to reach this.

    yes definitely to can get a huge amount of traffic from facebook, just promote your product on facebook, there are many strategies to promote a product.

    1. create a FB page
    2. on your site, put FB logo with some title like LIKE/JOIN us on FB
    3. Post regular updates & your products/services to FB page
    4. Respond to people comments, pictures & videos on FB
    5. Encourage people to LIKE your FB page so you can have better traffic via regular updates

    Facebook are generating right now a descent amount of traffic because ppl are using facebook to find service or information. So I also suggest you to do what webwebby told. Create a FB page you can save some cash using facebook templates to create it. You can get your fist fans from twiends.com and generate your first traffic.

    Creat a very good, Impressive and Interesting profile page. Submit some informative stuff also. Create community makes lot of new friends. Then start maintaining them by regular communicate with them after that start promoting whatever you want to promote by submitting link.

    I am doing by this way only and it works for me so obviously it gonna works for you also.

    yes , firstly it is facebook fan page ,and then in the wall you can share more funny things , and then add some Apps on fan page , like Fbml , twitter button ,and so hope helpful for you .

    As far as i know Facebook is most popular social networking site in the world, and it can help you for reaching your goal but it will take long time though i can't tell you exactly. approximately it will take 5-6 month but depend on persons interest.
