I am looking for a script to start a travel website. It'll not be for booking & stuff, we'll be reviewing destinations, hotels, restaurants & stuff.

Wordpress is really easy but it's going to be a blog.
If you want a website, give Joomla a shot but I've heard some good things about drupal too...

I'm using wordpress for my 2 new travel sites. they are just niche article sites that aren't "blogs" by the customary definition..

I've got a site that I never got around to finishing... but it's a travel related site, it's a custom script that I wrote. It gets live data from a travel parter, users can book hotels through it (sort of, that's what I never finished). Plus there's tons of other hotel related data.... I haven't had the time to get back to it and have been considering getting rid of it. PM me for the URL if you think you might be interested.

I use Website Baker for my travel site (link in sig) and it has about 420 pages and counting..the url development and easy to use templates, and the ability to change the way things work so easily make it an easy choice for what I need - without having to convert blog software to CMS capability.

What features are you looking for? if it's just for reviews, maybe you can use a news/article management script.

You should evaluate wordpress / drupal / joomla -- if they don't meet your needs then consider a custom script.
