I would like to know if I can make good money with a tutorial website?

How many unique visits I need per day to make 10$/day (with adsense)?


please tell me if there's goood potentiel with a tutorial website.

I will have unique tutorials about photoshop, php, htlm...

I have a tutorial websites and it doesn't make much $ from Google Adsense. Basically, the tutorial sites attract low paying ads. May be a tutorial on hosting may give you much better money though.

With around 500 unique dailys, i got less than 3US$ a day. That's pathetic, isn' it.

i think people are more interested in reading the tutorials rather than clicking ads.

 

I think they are also clicking on the ads .

 

so I would need about 2k visits per day to make 10$/day with adsense ?

I have a blogging tutorial site but haven't made any money with it through adsense yet. I just redid the template and became more aggressive about the adsense placement so we'll see if there is a change.

My feeling is that with a high traffic tutorial site, I'll probably make more money selling ad space to other sites than with adsense so if it doesn't work out with Google then I'm going to try that next.

 

you can make very good money by selling space but you need very good traffic.

 

Sign up for YPN (and get accepted), and you'll end up making a lot more than $3/day... I switched from AdSense to YPN a couple of weeks ago and my earnings tripled on almost every site.

My tutorial site is on webmaster (most specifically it's on Flash). hmmm...

 

I was also planning to have a tutorial website, but thanks DP memebers for their true experience about earning through tutorial websites. I am happy to work as freelance tutorial writer. I hope I can earn more money than website.

 

Freelance tutorial writers don't make a lot of money. Writing tutorials takes a lot of time and quite often you won't get paid a lot. If you're happy you get $25 at the most, when the same tutorial would make a lot more on a website.

You think so hey....

 

Tutorial sites get pretty easy traffic, but usually very lowplaying ads and few clicks. From my experience.
