If you are looking for tutorials on Photoshop, try this one:

This is how to create a picture that is actually made up of several Polaroid-type pictures:

    1. Find a picture that’s very colorful and interesting. Bring it into Photoshop, copy that layer (now you have two) and desaturate the one on top (shift-ctrl-u)
    2. Make a marquee in the shape of a perfect square, anywhere on your canvas.
    3. With that still selected, make a new layer (shift-ctrl-n), fill it in with black (“d”, then alt-backspace) and make it 50% opacity (“5”). This is your “cookie cutter”.
    4. Make another layer below your cookie cutter, create a Polaroid shaped rectangle selection with your marquee and paint it white. This is your “Polaroid template”.
    5. Link your cookie cutter and your Polaroid template. (select both layers, right click and choose “link”)
    6. Rotate them to where you want to make your next Polaroid
    7. Ctrl-click on the thumbnail of your “cookie cutter” layer, make sure you’re on your colorful picture layer (not your grayscale one), and hit “ctrl-J” (copy pic and make new layer with the copy). Put that on top.
    8. Make a copy of your Polaroid template to be the back of the section of your color picture you just copied. Keep these together.
    9. Go back to step 6.
