TV on DVD.

I bought my first TV on DVD show 18 months ago and since then I can't stand regular TV, namely commercials. I now have just under 100 shows on DVD. It's nice to control what you watch and when. Anyone else collect TV on DVD here?

My favorite show is Red Dwarf.

Nope, isn't it annoying having to wait for shows to be released on DVD

They come out pretty quick now and it beats waiting a week to find out what happens next.

The other nice thing is that the shows are usually uncut, unlike syndicated versions on TV.

If what you mean is collecting shows on TV, well I haven't tried that one yet.

Besides I don't know how that thing is done.

I've purposely not been watching Lost because I am getting the DVD.

I missed a few episodes so I decided I will just take a Saturday and watch the entire thing like a movie.

That's on my buy list, I've been watching Stargate SG1, I saw a few episodes on TV and never liked it, but when you watch it in order it's a great show.

I wish they would release The Wonder Years and China Beach. I really enjoyed both of those shows.

I'm looking forward to Get Smart and I wish they'd release WKRP, although that will probably never happen as the music rights are a nightmare.

SG1 is totally kick ass... The first few seasons were a little shaky, but after it ended up on SciFi, it really took off, except for season 7 when Col. O'Neil became a General and they stopped going off world fighting the Gou'ld. Then Atlantis kinda sealed it up as a terrible way to end a great run.

Lost is AWESOME on DVD. No more waiting a month for a new episode (like we are now...). However, Arrested Development is my favorite TV DVD. :D
