    Facebook & Twitter; both are social networks & both of them have their unique features which make them different from one another.
    No doubt facebook has huge userbase but the best thing about Twitter is a also a real time search engine.
    Hence my vote goes to Twitter .. :)

    Both stand best in their own category. On facebook one is more engaged as a friend, he can share more personal things. While tweeter is more of a RSS feed sort of thing where one tweets about more non-personal and non-friendly thoughts.

    anyone who say facebook is better, would you explain why? reason other than the number of user. I am experimenting on this and have not found any reason facebook is better yet. It takes a lot of efforts to get fan for a fan page.

    for wordpress blogs with regular posts, i find twitter best.

    I promote my stuff, and with almost no work, I get at least 100 views per day on a website from twitter posts.

    For making traffic to your site Twitter seems to be easier to manage but Facebook is bigger and better IMO but harder to manage for driving traffic.
