I only do twitter, but that's because it's way harder to get noticed on digg. If you do get noticed, you'll get a lot of traffic...

Twitter on the other hand is easy. Just think of it as a party, and join the conversations (and start your own), in a matter of minutes you'll have new visitors.

Good point. They are completely two different things. Digg just gives you lots of traffic for a day or so while Twitter traffic is likely to come back day after day.

Try both to find out which is best, then only focus on the best one.
    I personally prefer digg

I don't use neither for personal purposes; I use both as advertising tools. However, I prefer Digg.

I am using both and both are good to getting traffic but twitter is giving me better traffic than Digg. If you have more than 1000 followers in twitter you can get good traffic easily from twitter.

Do both but Twitter is much better. Digg is no where closer to Twitter. Digg is all about hyped stories and not quality content. Someone like me who writes blog posts to help others will probably never make it to the front page.

"it is not sexy enough for digg" but on Twitter quality content gets continuous traffic. Please retweet a good post over many days. That's the beauty of Twitter.

Twitter is better for re-promoting the same thing. You only get one shot on Digg.

Digg is good if you get on the front page.

Twitter.. not so much. You'll have to get a bunch of followers first
