I designed that site so that grandma's and alot of other people who have never been online or around the jargon can have a place to go and fine stuff out.

I even will answer questions if they need help. I have so far spoken on the telephone with a grandmother that could not figure out how to find the little picture of elvis.. (icon)

I think I shall dig into this dig thing and find out...SE basic get over here and explain it!

 It should be "good for grandmas", plural not possessive. While we're editing, it should be "put my blog on their page" although even that's not great - better would be "your" or "his or her".

    What "little picture of Elvis"?

I always wondered what them kids grew up to be. I spelled eleemosynary wrong in sixth grade and lost the state champion ship. Who woulda thunk it (sic)

Some words just shouldn't exist at all - that's one of them. I think we should lodge a formal protest against the use of archaic words in competitions. And I think we should get them to reverse the decision and give you back your state championship. And if they don't we will Google-bomb them with the phrase "miserable excuse for an anal-retentive reject".

LoL, I have now gotten over the loss of that competition and I am better for it.

Languages are supposed to have rules. It doesn't matter here whether you think that words are encoded in the brain or whether some aspects of it are environmental. The important point is that a distinction is made by almost everyone between what reads well and what doesn't, what makes sense and what doesn't, where the failing to make sense is a matter not of misunderstanding or inaccuracy but of “not saying what one meant”. The reader usually, mentally corrects what he or she regards as misuse but often notes the departure. When the said "mistake" is noted a slot is filled within the readers mind to place the person. Almost a intelligence rating system built into our collective conscience.

Minstrel your rating system is just finely tuned ;)
