Typo3 CMS - Does anyone use it or have any advice?

Typo3 seems like a very powerful and configurable system and because of this I would like to give it a shot.

Before I do however, I'd like to get your opinions and advice about it. Why? Well, because so far the collective opinions of the DP members has ALWAYS helped me make the right choice.

    Does anyone here use Typo3?
How would you rate it, honestly?
Is it worth the effort to learn it or not?
How much more powerful/flexible is it over Joomla/Mambo?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Pete

All I can say is I found it overly complex for what I was doing at the time, and reverted to Mambo for that particular project. It was definately in my top 5 when doing analysis

Yah, it seems a little more complex than the others... but that's why I want to see if the benefits are worth going through the learning curve.

If it really is THAT good, it's worth spending some time to learn it, otherwise I'd rather just keep using Joomla and similar.

Thanks for your input, anyone else?
