UK Affiliate Setting Up US YSM Account. HELP!

Hi,

I'm from the UK. I just tried to set up a US YSM account, as I want to target US prospects. During this process, I encountered many problems.

Firstly, there didn't seem to be a US market-targeting option. There was only a US and Canadian markets-targeting option. What's going on?!

Secondly, while creating my ad, I was only asked for one URL. I can't put my affiliate link as the display URL, so what am I meant to do here?

Thirdly, as I understand it, YSM offers two keyword matching options: Advanced and Standard. When entering my keywords, how do I specify which type of matching option I want for a particular keyword?

Lastly, I couldn't seem to find any e-mail addresses which I could use to contact the US office. I don't want to have to ring them up every time I have a problem, as it'll be too costly. How am I meant to contact these people?

Any help with any of these questions will be greatly appreciated.

You can choose US and Canada and from the regions, remove all the canadian states manually.

 

Thanks for the response, Jazz7620. However, I would really have appreciated an answer to my second query, which is bothering me the most.

As an affiliate marketer, the URL which I have to use is my affiliate link. With Adwords, you can put your affiliate link as the destination URL and the merchant's URL as the display URL. That way, your affiliate link can't be seen. However, while creating my Yahoo! ad, I was only asked for one URL. What am I meant to do?

Any affiliates out there using YSM, please help.

 

I just started on YSM and once you start creating other adgroups and campaigns you'll get the option of using a display and destination URL just like adwords.

I'm sure if you carried on you'll have found this out for yourself already.
