[UK] Do You Own Land?

I know this might be a rather unusual thread listing but there are a few things that I was wondering...

I don't actually know anybody who owns any land so the best and most obvious place to post was the internet and I've been here for a while now and remember seeing a couple of people talking about their land and such.

I've been having a real rough time lately I no longer have any income and I can't seem to find a job in my home city. I've been looking into whether a few things could be feasible.

I've been wanting to start my own business for a while now, it's one that the work could be done remotely, I've attempted it in the past while trying to collaborate with people that I'd met on the internet and such but nothing really worked out for the most part. So I've considered trying again with people I can meet with in person and not over the internet. Not only that but I've been working on the appropriate documents and financial information to see if I could attempt to get a business grant of some kind. With which I had the idea of buying a small piece of land, setting up a very small home office that I could live out of and working from there without as much stress. Allowing me to concentrate solely on the business. I don't know if something like that would be as feasible as the idea, which is why I am posting here... Currently I am staying with people and I am technically homeless, I work when I can remotely on things and I freelanced to pay for a laptop so that I could get more done when not at a desktop computer. This instability and drama that often follows from the people I am often staying with, makes it hard to work when I am able to pick up contract work.

I understand that the cost of buying land is more often than not, quite substantial... So I've been thinking about whether or not people who already own land that are not exactly using it, would allow someone to park a mobile home there to work and temporarily live out of in exchange for a small amount of money or if they were willing to provide labour work to help you with whatever you were doing on that land, for a reasonable portion of the day.

I mentioned a small living space/office earlier, well to give you a more general understanding of what I meant to coincide with what I've just expressed... I was more talking about something along the lines of what you will see here:

Even that little house type of thing will cost a large amount, but when you really think about it, I think that it could be a worthwhile investment. I think the lowest cost is just under £10,000 so let's say around £15,000 total for one of those appropriately set up, but then that is truly mobile and a home. Which so long as you have a place to park it you will have a place to live and work. Given my situation, I feel like something like this that I have explained here is my best chance at getting somewhere set up that I can work from comfortably without stress and somewhere stable. With as minimal cost as possible.

I would need to look into things a little more regarding the whole land thing, but I'm attempting to reach out to you land owner for insight and opinions on this, how willing would you be to help someone who would offer such a thing(?) I am genuinely curious on the topic.

I would also need to look into whether I would legally be able to use the business grant I could get for something like that, but it would set up the business long term in my opinion.

I would appreciate your feedback on the idea as a whole. I haven't looked into it a great deal at this time, I've mostly just had the ideas as a concept in my mind, I've done some reading today and I would like to talk to people or someone about it, but I don't know where I could start or find people to discuss this type of thing with. I have very few friends. None of which know about any of this stuff.

I won't be discussing too much about the business side of things just yet, if this turns out to be feasible I will disclose more information about it and such, but I have skills and have been told I am very talented all of the time within my trade. I am however still projecting the financials and possible profit margins and stability of it too.

Please don't just rip me a new one based on this idea, I am looking for very genuine responses and I appreciate you reading my thread...

Also, once you purchase land. What fees do you incur and taxes do you have to pay?
