Just been watching Eastenders and finding it getting a bit silly.

So, which is better, Eastenders or Coronation Street?

    P.S. How do I add a poll?

I can't believe I am going to post to this thread but Coronation Street if I had to choose.

For those of you taking your SAT's or IQ tests:
Eastenders is to Sopranos as Scary Movie is to Scream

Both are a waste of time - something to make loosers feel good. I find it particularly sad if anyone watches that crap for an extended period of time. One way to associate with low life scum and familiarize yourself with the looser's crutch. Best to avoid exposure to that repetitive bull. Read a book instead or engage in conversation. If you can sit through the omnibus weekly, there's something wrong with you.

    :D Touchee.

Actually, the only thing I ever watch is the occasional Cops Uncut for half an hour on Bravo. Did enjoy 'Lost' but missed too many episodes to know what's going on so it wore off. But I think I'll ditch my telly for on demand internet based video, podcasts etc.

I don't tend to watch TV any more. But when I did, I'd say Coronation Street of the two, because it knows it's not a serious program. Unlike the rubish gangland of Walford.

I was in the same boat but I got it on DVD...Watched 12 episodes all at once...Its a great show. The next 12 come out on the 16th ;)

I have Sky+ so I basically only watch taped programs these days. Its basically on demand (well, kinda)..I mostly watch Discovery and Home and Leisure...Im hooked on those channels

Eastenders lost my interest when the Mitchell brothers left. Phil without Grant just wasn't that good. The "bad" guys they have now, just don't look so tough and mean as Grant :)

This is classic stuff, thanks for the laugh.

    Aye before I forget:

Corrie stories are just stupid when they try and cover life issues although Les always gave me a good laugh and Kevin who worked in the garage anytime he flew off the handle.

Eastenders bloomin Doom & Gloom dont watch with a hangover :(

    Eastenders! I love it!

But then again I also like Corrie Norrie, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks etc. Luckily I don't have ITV or CH4 in Holland so I'm not such a soap opera addict anymore.
