Unimpressive people trying to be impressive

    CNN has a show on right now and they had a Q&A session and this 20 something year old douche stands up and says "Hi I'm an active blogger, and blah....."

    He actually paused after saying active blogger like he thought it was really impressive and everyone was needed a few minutes to take in his glory.

    What is there like 189 billion blogs out there right now.

    I hate when people say something unimpressive but say it like it should be impressive. Does this drive anyone else crazy?

    Heh. Agreed. Maybe the guy is utterly imressed himself.. I would guess his blog is filled with crap like it is with others "actively" blogging.

    I stumbled on one of those "active" blogs today. One of the posts was called "I'm so bored". Seen that one before?

    I can't really make fun of people's blogs. But I can if they are going to brag about them. I've seen some lame ones like "I'm bored" or "Thank god for coffee".

    As was said, most active blogs seem to be about some pants a celebrity wore, or some stupid stuff I dont care about.

    I have to admit I have a personal blog, but its just that personal, for my family and friends. I have no clue why people promote personal blogs. Its way to creepie thinking there are 1K people day reading that I went to walmart last night and couldn't find the CD I wanted. Blogging doesn't make you a journalist, which a lot are seeming to think.
